Skills Challenge Regional Results

Oklahoma City

The 2010 Oklahoma City Thunder Regional Competition took place March 20 at the Memorial Park Boys & Girls Club. Seventeen participants from Oklahoma and Kansas competed and more than 60 spectators were in attendance. Each participant received an iHoops Skills Challenge T-Shirt, a Regional Competition Awards Plaque, two tickets to the March 22 Thunder game. All six winners were announced in-arena during a pre-game recognition ceremony.

11/12 Girls –- Rachel Hurtz, Yukon, Okla.

13/14 Girls -– Andrea Gibson, Oklahoma City, Okla.

9/10 Boys -– Gage Kuehn, Enid, Okla.

11/12 Boys -– Tre'Von Bruner, Spencer, Okla.

13/14 Boys -– DeAntai Reed, Oklahoma City, Okla.


Orlando

The 2010 Orlando Magic iHoops Skills Challenge Regional Competition took place March 13 at RDV Sportsplex. Eighteen participants from northern Florida competed with more than 80 spectators in attendance. Each participant received an iHoops Skills Challenge T-Shirt, a Regional Competition Awards Plaque, two tickets to the March 14th Magic game, and a Magic poster. All six winners were also announced at center court during a pregame recognition ceremony (watch the video of the center court recognition).

Philadelphia

The 2010 Philadelphia 76ers Regional Competition took place April 3rd at the Simons Recreation Center in Philadelphia. Eighteen participants from Pennsylvania and New Jersey and more than 50 spectators were in attendance. Each participant received an iHoops Skills Challenge T-Shirt, a Regional Competition Awards Plaque, and two tickets to that afternoon’s game against the Toronto Raptors. All six winners were announced in-arena during a pre-game recognition ceremony.

Phoenix

The 2010 Phoenix Suns Regional Competition took place on March 21st at the Phoenix Suns Practice Court inside US Airways Arena. Eighteen participants from Arizona competed and more than 70 spectators were in attendance. Each participant received an iHoops Skills Challenge T-Shirt, a Regional Competition Awards Plaque, and two tickets to that evening’s game. All six winners were announced in-arena during a pre-game recognition ceremony.

Portland

The 2010 Portland Trail Blazers Regional Competition took place March 14th on the Practice Court of the Portland Trailblazers. Seventeen participants from Oregon competed and more than 100 spectators were in attendance. Each participant received an iHoops Skills Challenge T-Shirt, a Regional Competition Awards Plaque, two tickets to that evening’s game. All six winners were announced in-arena during a halftime recognition ceremony.
